Volvulus of the caecum is the second most common volvulus type after sigmoid volvulus. There is not concensus on the treatment of caecal volvulus. There have been cases of caecal volvulus with perforation due to impairement of caecal blood circulation and necrosis reported in the literature. We present a case of caecal perforation without necrosis, secondary to volvulus.
