The patients were evaluated in terms of functional recovery, hospitalization time, level of pain according to the Visual Analogue Scale (VAS: 1 to 10).

RESULTS:

Complaints of patients were; anal swelling 28, constipation 25, bleeding 23, pain around the anal region while sitting 18. Grade III hemorrhoid was confirmed in 17 patients, grade IV was confirmed in 14 patients. Mean operation time was 17,1 (16-45) minutes, mean hospitalization time was 47,2 (24-72) hours. Follow-up time was 2-24 months. Peroperatory bleeding was seen in 1 patient. Postoperative anal stricture was seen in 2 patients. Postoperative anal edema was seen in 1 patient.
