Stump appendicitis is a rare condition characterized by inflammation of residual appendix after appendectomy. The history of appendectomy causes delay in diagnosis and increases the morbidity. Acute stump appendicitis should be the choise of diagnosis in appendektomised patients who admitted with acute abdomen. In this paper two patients with acute abdomen who had been admitted our clinic and diagnose as stump appendicitis were presented.
